Trash & Quiet Hours
Quiet Hours: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM — please be respectful of neighboring properties
A trashcan next to the front porch is for temporary storage
Please take all trash to the dumpster whenever convenient — and always before checkout
The dumpster is across the street from our driveway entrance, to the left
Simply remove the bags from the bin and drop them in. Thank you for helping keep the cabin clean!

Pet Policy
Dogs welcome — max 2 dogs, under 75 lbs each
Pet fee: $125 per dog
Please keep dogs off all furniture and bedding, and clean up after them in all outdoor areas
Dogs must be leashed outside the cabin at all times (property is not fenced)
Cats and other pets are not permitted

Departure Checklist
Check out by 10:00 AM — no exceptions without prior approval
Place all towels and robes in a laundry basket or on the floor (do not wash)
Leave bed linens in place — we'll take care of those
Load and start the dishwasher, and take trash to the dumpster
Fully extinguish all fire pit embers
Close the hot tub and cold plunge lids
Lock all doors and close windows

Hot Tub
Pre-heated and ready on arrival · max capacity 8 guests
Use two people and the cover lifter to remove and fold back the cover
Use the control panel to power on jets and adjust temperature (100–104°F recommended)
Please only use the jets and temperature buttons — nothing else. Other buttons can reset the programming and take the tub out of service
Shower before entering · no glass in or around the tub · limit sessions to 15–20 minutes
Re-cover immediately after use to maintain temperature
⚠️ Warning: Not recommended for pregnant guests or those with heart conditions without doctor approval. Never close the lid while anyone is in the hot tub — this could result in serious injury or death.

Barrel Sauna
Heats up quickly to 150–185°F
Sessions of 10–20 minutes are recommended — exit, cool down, hydrate, then re-enter if desired
Turn the heater OFF and leave the door slightly ajar when finished
No food inside the sauna
⚠️ Warning: Stay hydrated and avoid alcohol before use. Not recommended for pregnant guests or those with heart or blood pressure conditions. Not suitable for children under 12. Never lock anyone inside the sauna — this could result in serious injury or death.

Cold Plunge
Lift the lid back onto the deck railing to enter, then lower yourself in slowly
Recommended: 2–3 minutes · limit to 1–2 sessions per day
Close the lid when finished to conserve temperature
No glass in or around the cold plunge
⚠️ Warning: Exit immediately if you feel dizzy, numb, or short of breath. Not recommended for pregnant guests or those with heart conditions, high or low blood pressure, or Raynaud's disease. Not suitable for children. Never close the lid while someone is inside — this could result in serious injury or death.

Outdoor Bluetooth Speakers
The rock-style speakers near the hot tub connect via Bluetooth
Find them in your Bluetooth device list and tap to connect
Please keep the volume considerate after 11:00 PM — sound travels very easily 🌙

Gas Grill
A shut-off valve on the deck railing controls the gas to the grill
Turn the valve vertical to turn gas ON, use grill controls, ignite, and enjoy
When done, turn the grill controls off and turn the railing valve horizontal to shut it off completely
Simple as that — just don't forget!

Stationary bike, free weights, flat bench, yoga mats, and a wall-mounted smart cable machine
Two fire pits: Ridgetop (at the cabin) & the Riverside Area
Burn only firewood — no trash or treated wood
Never leave a fire unattended, and fully extinguish before going to bed
Observe all active burn bans (check local alerts)

To the Riverfront by Car
Turn left out of the driveway → follow the road down → turn left onto Riverview Drive (sharp hairpin turn — take it slow)
If the gate is closed, the code is provided in your check-in guide
Park inside the gate off the path for a short walk, or drive to the turnaround/parking area further down
Our riverfront amenities are just past the vehicle turnaround — look for the fire pit, picnic table & dock
The road inside the gate is a shared easement for the few cabins in this area

Trail to the River
The trail starts off the back deck near the hot tub and cold plunge
Head downhill and it leads straight to the river in just a few minutes — mostly shaded and a beautiful walk
Our riverfront area will be to your left when you arrive
The trail is steep at the beginning and can be slippery when wet — sturdy shoes recommended

Riverfront Area
Fire Pit — Seating surrounds the fire pit. Follow all fire-safety guidelines and fully extinguish before leaving
Dock — Right on the Toccoa River. Perfect for fishing, relaxing, or watching the water
Picnic Table — Ideal for riverside meals, drinks, or soaking in the views
⚠️ River currents can be swift, especially after rain or dam releases. Always supervise children near the water.

Swimming & the Dam Release
The Toccoa River is generally easy to wade and swim — shallow, calm, and beautiful under normal conditions
The dam upstream periodically releases water, which can raise the river level several feet fairly quickly
Schedules update throughout the day; next-day schedules are usually posted by 6:00 PM. No release scheduled = you're good to go
⚠️ Never enter the river during an active water release. Current can increase significantly and without warning. Wait to see if it's something you're comfortable with.

Wooden ramp launch designed for small drift boats that can be hand-slid into the water
